Objetives:
Regarding an installation carried out by us previously, the client asks us to activate the pre-alarms (Notices) that indicate on the HMI screen the absolute temperature difference between 10 scraper zones, and that activate, according to a parameterization, actions that anticipate excessive heat in the installation and in the end, avoid major problems by stopping the line.
Used tools:
- Beijer Panel: IX Developer.
- PLC: Step 7 S7-400.
- Communication channel: ETH.
Process:
After parameterizing the warning and alarm values, the temperature difference between scrapers is indicated with colours (yellow/orange/red).
Our collaboration:
Analysis of the solution to be implemented and carrying out the engineering of the project, fine-tuning the designed algorithm without stopping production.
