Pneumatic Feeder/Stacker (Rockwell PLC and drives)

Our customer, automatic processing lines manufacturer, asks us to collaborate in the engineering of plasterboard feeding and stacking line, with the programming and commissioning of a part of the installation.

This order is the consequence of the successful execution of a similar project in USA, which significantly increase the client’s productive capacities, and in which we participate by carrying out the programming and the commissioning.

Weighing control at press exit

With our client, and in the pursuit of the quality of their products supplied with «zero defects», we undertake a project for the regular testing of the products that come out of a forming press, specifically regarding the differences and therefore the weight tolerances that would be admitted for a well-manufactured product.

Automotive press feeder with nine synchronized axis (Siemens Simotion D455-2)

To feed a hot stamping press with the pieces from two heating furnaces using a feeder that has three arms, each one witg three axes (9 axes in total), synchronized to a virtual axis, following a path defined in a flexible way by the operator. For this, we have Siemens Sinamics servos connected via ProfiNet IRT (isochronous real time) network to a Siemens Simotion D455-2 controller.

Technical Advice

Box former automation

Sequence control and up to 13 servos synchronism programming for the realization of cardboard boxes, that by its folding and gluing they can contain products in Kit, filled by another part of the line and using KUKA robots for the automation.

Servo drives? Also with Rockwell PLC

In addition to performing Automation Engineering with the most common PLCs in their latest development versions (Tia Portal, Omron, etc.), INISA provides high specialization services in other platforms, maybe less used in Europe, as Rockwell PLCs, but with more use in the American continent.
