On this occasion, we have carried out a full upgrade project on a <strong>palletizing system with KUKA robots<\/strong>, migrating from the <strong>KRC2 <\/strong>controller to the new <strong>KRC5 <\/strong>platform, which is significantly more powerful, secure, and efficient.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-0-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-aa77de39704f91a023e5785f63d42146 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Palletizing process optimization<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The robot picks up refractory material from a roller conveyor and then stacks it onto pallets. During the project, several key improvements were implemented:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pneumatic system upgrade<\/strong> of the robot, migrating to fully <strong>Profinet<\/strong>-based control, achieving more robust and flexible communication. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Increased picking capacity<\/strong>: the system has moved from handling <strong>4 units to 6 units<\/strong> per cycle, significantly boosting process productivity. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Programming platform migration<\/strong>, upgrading the <strong>TIA Portal environment from V15 to V17<\/strong>, ensuring greater compatibility, performance, and future maintainability. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to these enhancements, the customer benefits from a faster solution with reduced maintenance requirements and a system ready for many years of industrial operation. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-0-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-03c60f2ceb34f01e0ebc70dfb699abca wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In palletizing and Flexible Manufacturing Cells, INISA makes the difference.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-7decd5e36ba88df601204454d049f1a3 wp-block-paragraph\">#95<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Inisa Automation, we continue to drive the modernization of industrial lines through the advanced integration of robotic technologies.
