Retrofitting of a hydraulic press for Automotive

MILESTONE: To adapt the functioning of a hydraulic press in production in the automotive industry, deleting parts and functionalities of a German manufacturer, to replace them with less problematic solutions, addressing both the mechanical and reprogramming of PLCs (two S7400, PLC Piltz) and operator display parts, updating programming packages versions.

The functionalities adapted to its new functioning were (1) the control of the pressing columns parallelism and (2) the hydraulic control of the pressing speed, depending on the position of the pressing mobile slide.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT: After the analysis on the installations, and carried out the programming and the simulation at the office, we go to the set-up finalizing the implementation in 2 parts, maintaining again the production.

The advantage is to have a local engineering that makes the changes to the client and simplifies the installation with less problematic solution and more easier in maintenance.
