Engineering development for the retrofit of press + KUKA palletizing robot installation existing, adapting them by updating the equipment (Security PLC + Profinet communications and decentralized + New Kuka Robot + New HMI), programming all this and generating a new electric project. Carrying out the set-up at the scheduled maintenance shutdown for its installation (2 weeks).

Our client, in one of its production facilities, wants to optimize the performance of a Kuka robot for the collection of finished product from a tray and its subsequent palletizing, increasing the number of collected products on each extraction (from 4 to 6 suction pads), and the speed and the functionalities of the palletizing by programming the PLCs, Robot and SCADA.

To replace an old control without integrated securities on an existing gantry crane with a new Siemens PLC with Safety integrated. This allows us, in a later step, to transform the current completely manual operation crane on an automatic crane, capable to work 24hours a day without operator intervention.

Due to the needs of the CUSTOMER, which is an international paper manufacturer, the hardware has been updated, as well as its programming and the set up of the press system.
