Due to the needs of the CUSTOMER, which is an international paper manufacturer, the hardware has been updated, as well as its programming and the set up of the press system.
Technical solution:
An obsolete S5 PLC has been replaced by an S7 PLC, and instead of the desk and its buttons and displays, a SCADA with two screens has been installed.
The updating of the PLC has not involved large changes for the customer in the control and neither in the installation, since the old system becomes a decentralized system and the old control is not modified thanks to the migration from S5 to S7. Thanks to the SCADA, several buttons and potentiometers have been eliminated, centralizing the control of the system in the S7 PLC.
