Milestone:
To replace an old control without integrated securities on an existing gantry crane with a new Siemens PLC with Safety integrated. This allows us, in a later step, to transform the current completely manual operation crane on an automatic crane, capable to work 24hours a day without operator intervention.
Solution:
During the programed stop of Holy Week 2017, and after an adequate planning, the old box is reformed, installing a new PLC 315F PN/DP of Siemens and all necessary safety elements for a safe movement of the crane. The crane is ready and completely operational after its adequacy.
