An Omron NX102 PLC is responsible for the automation of a line for the automotive sector, in which we collaborate with a machinery manufacturer.
Process: The pieces are fed by means of a vibrator to a vision station that verifies the correct feeding of the piece and its orientation. With this information, a scara robot is responsible for collecting it and feeding it to a QR laser marking station, to then be viewed and verified as correct. A second scara robot feeds this piece onto the line pallet to be used in the following processes, all with a 2-second pallet feeding cycle.
Our client has asked us to develop the programming and testing of the PLC, the HMI, the safety in this part of the line, the scara robots and the synchronization of all of them with the vision and the rest of the line, programmed and developed by their Engineers.
The line has passed the customer acceptance FAT and will be shipped to destination.
Tools: Sysmac Studio by OMRON, scara robot, HMI.
INISA: Collaborating in the projects of machinery manufacturers or engineering firms
